We had a wonderful two-night stay at Gamagara in December. The staff and service were exceptional, the food was excellent, and the game drive offered great wildlife sightings, including a memorable white rhino. Comfortable beds and thoughtful touches made it all worthwhile. Don’t let the 12 km bumpy road put you off - it’s absolutely worth it!

We spent the most amazing day as a couple and were warmly taken care of by Lizz right from arrival. We enjoyed the facilities, a great game drive with a friendly, knowledgeable guide, and a perfect dinner for two. The food, service, and communication were excellent, and having the place to ourselves made it extra special. Truly a hidden gem in Kathu - we can’t wait to return.

A very relaxing stay over Christmas, thanks to a wonderful team of staff. Food was good. The rondavel was excellent and the game drive of the highest quality. The viewpoint, overlooking the waterholes was a delightful place to sit and enjoy sundowners whilst watching the animals.
